Alpha SCT Testimonial

David Haskins from Barrettine Environmental recommended that we give Alpha SCT a go as we wanted to try something different, so how did it do?

"Well as it says on the label it's for use in and around domestic properties (which is always useful to any pest technician), public and municipal areas, refuse tips, poultry houses, slaughterhouses and manure heaps. It states a very fast knockdown and an excellent residual effect but a shame it does not say how long the residual lasts for on the bottle or in their catalogue as I like to pass this on to the client, but David from Barrettine has confirmed to us that the residual effect with last up to 12 weeks, which gives us a great all-round chemical. 

It comes in a 500ml easy-measure bottle with a normal treatment at 25 ml per 5 litres of water (20 treatments) and heavy treatments at 50ml per 5ltrs of water (10 treatments) Even though we have not used this product on all the pests they have listed like: flies, moths, beetles, fleas, ticks, bed bugs, cockroaches, crickets, silverfish, booklice, mites, ants, mosquitoes, wasps and centipedes. We have used it against moths, fleas and flies with great success and a very happy client and will update this post as and when we get the chance to use it more. I will say that so far we cannot fault Alpha SCT and would recommend trying it for yourselves. The smell from the Alpha SCT, when sprayed, is not too strong and the client said it cleared within a couple of days which is always a bonus as there is nothing worse than leaving a place smelling bad.

So for our first try of this chemical, we were not disappointed and would say 9/10.  Why not 10/10 well I believe no chemical should be a perfect 10 as there is always an insect that is a nightmare and until we try it on all listed on the bottle then the score stays where it is."
